AlphaTheta unveils new wireless DJ headphones, HDJ-F9

AlphaTheta has released new set of wireless DJ headphones.
The built-for-the-booth HDJ-F9 headphones introduce SonicLink Touch Pairing, which builds on SonicLink – AlphaTheta’s own low-latency technology – by allowing you to connect to compatible DJ gear, such as the company’s new three-channel mixer, the DJM-V5.
Designed for “precise monitoring, even in loud DJ booths”, the on-ear headphones use 40 mm drivers and a bass-reflex design that AlphaTheta says delivers “tight, clearly defined lows” down to sub-bass.
In terms of Bluetooth connection, multi-point Bluetooth pairing means you can link your headphones to two devices at once. There’s also a Headphones Connect app for switching up the colour and brightness of the Status LED.
The headphones are out now and priced at €379 / £329 / $349. Find out more and pick a pair up from AlphaTheta here.
The SonicLink transmitter – which connects to your DJ mixer, controller or any other device and sends the audio signal near-latency-free to the headphones – was first used by the company in 2024 for the HDJ-F10 wireless headphones.
The company has added a cache of new pieces to its ever-expanding catalogue this year, including the all-in-one unit XDJ-AN, a new multi-player, the CDJ-1500X and the aforementioned DJM-V5.
In September, AlphaTheta announced it was adding OneLibrary support for the VirtualDJ software by Atomix Productions.
